Hand Lettering and Other Insights
I haven’t always been intrigued by typography, I’ve been a pictures guy most of my career. Like a lot of people my interest in the subject never went far beyond choosing a font from the drop-down menu.
Recently however I’ve been seeing typography more for what it is, an art form. Hand lettering artists like Dana Tanamachi and Sean McCabe have shown me just how delightful a written word can be, and along with a growing number of other talents have inspired me to get in the game.
I’m of the opinion the end product should be truly unique, so I’ve been commissioning handwriting as bones for my letter forms.

Hopefully there’s more to come, I went so far as to create a new blog category for typography. From here I'll likely venture into type categories beyond just scripts.
